How to create multiple copies of mechanism

Hi,

 

  I have created four bar mechanism. I need to create four more copies of the mechanism with Z off set distance of 100 mm with respect to each other. Currently, I am creating, it additional four times manually.

    Hello Venkatesh - 

    There are couple of ways to ease this process. The common part being creating the mechanism within a system whose entities are parametrically linked. The system can then be saved as a system definition file and instantiated several times by importing the system definition. 

    You may follow tutorial MV-1030 creating system definition using MV GUI. This tutorial uses a simple pendulum example, but the concept is similar. 

     

    If the system was not created parametrically, the individual systems once instantiated, can be translated using 'System Translation' tab in the Systems panel.
