Boundary Layer with Mesh extrusion was not generated
Dear Experts,
I can't generate 2D Boundary Layer (BL) mesh when mesh extrusion was on (Fig 1 - Fig 2). Is there anything that i missed or is it a bug? This issue also has been brought by another user however no reply from the forum (https://community.altair.com/community?id=community_question&sys_id=3ac23a2c1b8f3c90507ca6442a4bcbf2). Attached is my .hm file for this case.

*Off topic, Since AcuConsole already in end-of-Life phase, I am in learning phase for HW CFD. This are a few of my inputs currently that may or may not be useful to be added into HW CFD in the future:
- Unit display for each parameter (speed, mass, etc) like AcuConsole.
- Additional mesh extrusion option. Currently mesh size was required for the input. Is it possible to add number of extrusion layer?
- Built in Frontal area calculator in HW CFD. The issue has been addressed 2 years ago and one of the forum user suggest to use virtual wind tunnel to get the frontal area. (https://community.altair.com/community?id=community_question&sys_id=c766803a1b2bd0908017dc61ec4bcb04&view_source=searchResult).
- User friendly GUI for wave boundary condition and additional type of wave such as regular, irregular, cnoidal, stokes, etc like Flow3D from Flow Science.

The BL 'imprint' is an existing limitation. My understanding is that this will be partially addressed in the upcoming 2022 release - where an Edge Boundary Layer parameter will need to be specified. It is targeted to be fully addressed in the 2022.1 release - where the surface BL parameter (without specifying edge BL) will be enough to get the BL imprinted.

Thank you for your explanation @acupro / @acupro. Since our university currently on requesting phase to get AcuConsole token from Altair, do you have any idea on how to generate 2D BL mesh other than using AcuConsole and HW CFD?

HyperWorks CFD 2022 (available via AltairOne / Connect) does have extrusion with boundary layers now - via 'Edge Layer' parameters. I've attached a brief screen recording.
