Layer mesh

Hi Guys, I am new to Hyperworks. I wanted to do meshing for a fuel injector for simulation in AVL FIRE. I wanted to do layer mesh so that I can do layer in the option 'selection' but after I do meshing with 2D, I assumed that because it is doing a surface mesh instead of solid mesh. So is there any ways to do a layer mesh with 2D? Because when I wanted to do a solid mesh in 3D, it said that my model is not a solid. But I did check in FreeCAD that my model is a solid. I had attached my model.
