Hi KnowledgeSEEKER/ STUDIO Users! 


Version 10.8 of Angoss Analytics Software Suite has been released for Windows and Red Hat Linux 7. This includes KnowledgeSEEKER, KnowledgeSTUDIO, KnowledgeREADER, and KnowledgeSTUDIO for Apache Spark. A summary of what's new in 10.8 is included at the end of this message.

Version 10.8 can be installed side by side with any previous version.

For those who will need to use or demonstrate KnowledgeSTUDIO for Apache Spark, please contact the R&D Team to set up the access to the appropriate clusters on Amazon AWS.

Angoss 10.8 Python Library is built in the Angoss Workstation package.  If you need R and Python integration features, the prerequisites are:

R statistical software: https://www.r-project.org/

Anaconda (Python 3.7), 64-bit: https://www.anaconda.com/download/#windows
If you have older versions of Angoss Libraries for R and Python, uninstall them first from Control Panel | Programs and Features.

After applying the new license, in case your Angoss software uses an older license by default, select the Connect command from the File menu and click OK. Choose the desired product in the Product Selection dialog and click Launch.

To delete older licenses, select License Manager from the Help menu and remove the licenses.


What's New in Version 10.8:

Integration with Monarch Swarm

  • Angoss analytics software applications now integrate with Swarm:
    • Angoss datasets can be exported to Swarm
    • Swarm files can be imported into Angoss datasets
    • Angoss models can be published to Swarm (in PMML format). Supported model types for model export: Decision Trees, Logistic Regression, Linear Regression, Regularization, and Constrained Regression.
  • Note: Swarm integration features require Anaconda with Python version 3.7 or higher.
