Add other jTAG connections than the listed ones

Hi there!

 

First: I have a Spectrum Digital XDS560 v2 USB EMULATOR, connected to the F28335 control card on the Experimenter's kit Docking Station.

The DSP's Docking Station has a built-in XDS100 v1 jTAG, but, I want to use the DSP with an external emulator. The reason of doing this is because I also have another Docking Station from Plexim RTBox HIL, that doesn't provide a built-in jTAG connection to the DSP ControlCard.

 

Second: I want to use the Altair Embed software to program the F28335 control card and to do reat-time jTAG debugging.

 

Problem: There is no XDS560v2 STM USB jTAG connection in Altair / Embed...

 

Question: Is there any way to add third party jTAG connection drivers to Altair Embed?

    Hi pintilie_luci,

     

    Unfortunately, there is not a way to add third party JTAG connection drivers to Altair Embed. We will add XDS560v2 STM USB JTAG connector to our list of potential support.
