i have imported the .step file of 30*20 cross section solid in hyperworks optistrct my therotical stress value is 25 MPA and hyperworks showing tht 28 mpa

    you should describe it better what you are doing. Just writting the results is impossible to anyone to guess what you're doing.

    You should start looking at your mesh refinement and element types used.

    Hi Kalal,

     

    As pointed by @Adriano A. Koga, It's a classic a problem when we use numerical methods to solve EDO ...

    You have to study the influence of the mesh (nbr of nodes for example) on the stress.

    The idea is find the optimal mesh which can approximate the reference solution within a reasonable computational cost.
