Automate Quality Check reports

Hi, I'm looking for a way to automate the generation of mesh quality reports for each 2D meshed part.

I would like to create either a Word or an Excel file containing:

  • a table with all (or maybe if possible only a selected number) of the quality criteria chosen and, the number and percentage of failed elements
  • an image of the element edges
  • an image of the element mapped thickness
  • an image of the element normals

So far I made a little tcl script doing 'a kind of screenshot' and saving the required images in a folder. However, I know it's possible to make a Word report or to create an HTML file as a quality check, thus I believe there is (or should be) a way to do it with a script. Can somebody help me? Thanks in advance.

    Hey fabien,

Did you find a solution for this problem. As currently I am working on the same task. It would be nice if you have found a solution.

have you tried the available solution in core?

You need to provide a criterea file and the get back a quality report.
