I would like to conduct an optimization study with optistruct for vibration

    Please take a look at the Help for HyperStudy.

    You will find nice tutorials there.

    If you want to optimize your model thicknesses it is one of the easiest ones.

    Then you can create your vibration responses based on your H3D files or .out files, depending on what you want to accomplish.

    The only negative point that you need to take care is that HSt in general will be slower than running an optimization directly in OptiStruct, as it doesn't have direct access to the design sensitivities.
