In this session, you will learn about Characteristic Mode Analysis (CMA)
Characteristic Mode Analysis (CMA) gives insight into the fundamental resonant radiating behavior of a structure. Systematic design approaches can be based on the quantities produced by the CMA.
CMA can be applied to antenna design as it presents the fundamental radiating modes of a structure and how best to excite these modes. CMA can also be applied to scattering analysis as it predicts how external sources might excite the dominant radiating (scattering) modes of a structure.
We will allow for 10 mins of Q&A after the presentation.
