PSIM Altair Installer crashes
Hello, I am quite having some troubles installng this program. As you can see in the attatched image, the downloading bar reaches the 100% flawlessly but, after that, the program just closes and does nothing.
Anyone can offer some help? I would really appreciate it
PS: I have windows 11 and a student licence. I also have a different windows 10 laptop where i could manage to install the program.

Hello, thank you for your help.
The licence type that appears on "Managed Licence" section is: Altair Student Edition
The PSIM version is the last one, recently downloaded from the web, version 2024.1
And yes, as you said, this has been a bit frustrating. I've tried several solution methods with no sucess. I have found on my %temp% folder some files that appear after any installation attempt. One of those files is named "lax-14502810832318528193-err.tmp". When I open it with a text editor some log outputs are written. I will copy those lines down here:

Can you confirm the exe is downloading correctly from marketplace?
Verify file's SHA-256 checksum to check there's no packets being lost.
How toIn a command line, run the command:
For Windows: certutil -hashfile [file location] SHA256
. For example:
certutil -hashfile C:\Users\user1\Downloads\software.zip SHA256
Compare the value returned by the command line with the value from the pop over of the file in the marketplace, it should be 0180a09c7fa306c800f2add55d9cd3ecd2031255fe834793b1321536ba74f163
You need sufficient disk space for install: Installing the package requires around 11 GB of disk space. The temp space used by the installer will be freed after successful completion of an installation.
Make sure you have full permissions and rights in the location you are installing.
This does seem to be an issue with certain Windows installations for all kinds of software, perhaps your PC support or MS support can help - https://www.google.com/search?q=installer+extraction+reaches+100%25+and+then+disappears&sca_esv=3155dd6ef610aa34&rlz=1C1GCEA_enIN1099IN1099&biw=1536&bih=791&ei=RaBXZ7KMGLmv4-EP36TgkQQ&ved=0ahUKEwjywquKjZyKAxW51zgGHV8SOEI4FBDh1QMIDw&uact=5&oq=installer+extraction+reaches+100%25+and+then+disappears&gs_lp=Egxnd3Mtd2l6LXNlcnAiNWluc3RhbGxlciBleHRyYWN0aW9uIHJlYWNoZXMgMTAwJSBhbmQgdGhlbiBkaXNhcHBlYXJzMggQABiiBBiJBTIIEAAYgAQYogQyCBAAGIAEGKIESL4yUJUEWMgwcAN4AZABAJgByQKgAdEbqgEIMC4yMC4xLjK4AQPIAQD4AQGYAg-gAscMwgIKEAAYsAMY1gQYR5gDAIgGAZAGB5IHBDMuMTKgB4ds&sclient=gws-wiz-serp
This seems frustrating! Which license type and what version are you trying to install?
Altair units or legacy?
