simulation
Altair Employee Hi, i get some troubles with my simulation, iwant to simulate three magnets blocks made of Neodimium, two are fixed and the other one is located 200mm under, between the blocks i have been create a block who simulate a region of the air (gap), between blocks.
i made a mechanical set for the blocks, one is fixed for the two first blocks, other is compressible for the gap block, and traslation along one axis, for the block who have to move near to the fixed blocks, also made a infinite box with a set up as set mechanical fixed.
i made the mesh and i defined the geometric parameter with the width from the gap block, try to run the simulation but the output shows me this sentence....
'The sliding surface of the mechanical set MOVIL
is incoherent with the direction of the translation movement
Concerned face(s) : 22 A compressible mechanical set must separate fixed and
moving mechanical setsImpossible to solve problem'....
i changed the direcction and try to run again but shows me the same error but this time with two new faces...i really appreciate who can give some help, i´m a begginer wiht this software and i really don´t know, what can i do to fix the simulation..

The error message mean that you need to separate the moving part and fixed part.
