Lattice Analysis

Is there a good way to do an FEA analysis with a lattice structure - I tried just running an analysis on the imported .fem and I don't seem to be getting good results.

 

Also, it seems as if I'm not always getting a component for each lattice. Rather (especially when I choose a low lattice density), I sometimes get a single component for the entire structure. Is that a problem?

Hi Dave,

 

Usually for BAR elements you get a seperate property. But this is the first time I came across that all elements have a same property or component.

 

I will try to set a low density lattice in a trail model to check if this has anything to do with the components and I will update the same to you.
