Hypermesh connection in system level and depenetrations

What are the different types of connections used in Hypermesh and what is depenetrations and where it is applicable.Any relevant video tutorials or materials available.. please guide me regarding my queries.

    Connectors are geometric entities used to create connections between link entities. I'm attaching a document on connectors where the types and the related theory is also covered.
     

     

     

    Penetration is defined as the overlap of the material thickness of shell elements, while Intersection is defined as elements that actually pass completely through one another: We have penetration check tool to check the model for any penetrations and t depentrate the same.Penetrations/intersections in a model can result result in weird model and behavior and also high energy errors. It is always recommended to keep the model free from any penetrations.
