How to feed this structure?

Hi guys,

I am using FEKO to do a simulation, the configuration of which is shown below:

It is essentially a transmission line sandwiched between two dielectric materials and a ground. So I created a model in feko, but encountered the problem of feeding this structure: In reality I want to use a coaxial cable to feed this structure, but there isn't an equivalent in FEKO. Previously I was creating a line connecting the ground and the transmission line, then use a wire port to feed it. But I don't think this is the smartest solution.

Could you please give me some suggetions? Many thanks!

    Hello Ryanchen,

I think the feed that you described (pin feed) sounds like a good idea. Why do you feel that it is not representative? The only other suggestion would be to actually model the coaxial cable, but that would be much more resource intensive and I'm not convinced it would be a better solution.
