How can we enable Stream Processing and Real Time Visualization in IoT Studio Trial Version?

Hi,

We are encountering below message when we try to enable Stream Processing and Real Time Visualization in IoT Studio Trial Version.

"You don't have any more Units available. Close any other open sessions to free up some Units or use the AU Management calculator to get more Units for Panopticon in this Space"

We have tried to add more AU using AU Management, but not sure what are we missing here. BTW, We are new to Altair IoT Studio, Panopticon and AI Studio. We are trying to build a sample application (based on Altair Demos). The goal is to understand what are the best parameter values that need to be setup on the shop floor devices for a "Good" outcome. To accomplish this requirement, we need to collect shopfloor devices runtime data at regular intervals and join these data collections with MES data and run this "married" data through ML models. That means, we need to use IoT Studio, AI Studio, AI Hub and Panopticon products. We have downloaded AI studio and in the process of installing AI Hub (docker version) locally.

How can we accomplish our above mentioned goals by using Altair IoT Studio trial version?

Hi Purush,

The embedded version of Panopticon Stream Processing and Panopticon Real Time Visualization are not available in the IoT Studio free trial version. See

for details on what is included in the free trial.

The owner of a space in IoT Studio can add AU using the AU Management if the owner's account is linked to Altair One and has appropriate licenses available. See

Account Linking

for more details. Once AU have been added to the space it will be converted from a trial space to a commercial space.
