Output Response for specific component in Hyperstudy

Hello,

I would like to investigate the system behavior of a Hypermesh model in Hyperstudy. The FE model consists of various components or assemblies. I have parameterized the .fem file and performed a nominal run. Now, I would like to use the .h3d file to output the maximum stress for specific components or assemblies. Unfortunately, so far, I have only managed to select a range using the First and Last request. Is there a way in Hyperstudy to select multiple elements in an Output Response that do not have a contiguous element numbering or even output the maximum stresses across components or assemblies?

Thank you for your help.

    Hi @OverEngineered1,

A possible solution might be to use Altair Compose, which has functions for reading results from specific nodes from an H3D (command readcae), by registering an OML function you create in Compose and using it as an output response in HyperStudy.

There's are eLearning to teach you the very basics of Altair Compose and how you can leverage it when using other Altair products. Have a look here:

    Hope this helps!

    Hi @OverEngineered1,

One can use the HyperView model connection to add output responses from a specific set.

The HyperView model connection is helpful in scenarios where either the FE model nodes/elements are not numbered in a sequence or a specific component result is required instead of the whole model (which is by default in HyperStudy).

The process of using the HyperView model connection has been detailed in the below video:

The same feature has been explained in detail in the below blog as well.

For timely resolution of the queries, it is recommended to mail the query on hwsupport@altair.com.

    Many thanks.

    Kind Regards
