Error #2202 "Error(s) encountered during element check"

Hi.

I cannot run a simple model due to this #2202 error. I have turned off CHECKEL already but still it produces this error.

Can anyone tell me what's wrong with my model?

I am not an expert yet so I need help from the experts. I know there are many in this community.

Hi Rod,

Please check the below message.

Element # 17870, element type QUAD4.
ERROR - Validity limit violation: Vertex Angle = 184.95upper limit = 180.00

The element with id 17870 is having angle 184 which has crossed the upper limit of 180deg for quad element. Even if you do CHECKEL=NO, it will not work.

So do a quality check for your model and correct the bad quality elements and rerun.
