Cannot open EDEM

Hi Support,

 

When I open EDEM, the window close in few seconds, as shown in attached video. I've installed 2023.0.1 hotfix and also tried 2023.1, but none of them worked. I'll be grateful if there's any solution.

    Hi Gary,

    Could you confirm which version of Windows you are using?

    This looks like it's a graphics issue, as a first step I'd recommend making sure all windows updates have been applied and the latest graphics drivers are installed.

    From the video it looks like this is a local machine, not a virtual machine?  Are you connecting to the monitor via a docking station?  Sometimes the docking stations can influence and restrict the graphics options, if so would be good to try connecting the monitor directly to the machine and see if this allows the graphics to operate correctly.

    If you have multiple graphics cards in the machine EDEM may be defaulting to the wrong type, you can specify which card to use as described here and in the screenshot below:
