Multiple Loads in a Transient Analysis

Hi,

I need to resolve a transient(direct) analysis on my model.

There are 8 different imported load that I merged into 1 with a LOADADD card, then I create a TABLED1. Now  I need to create a TLOAD1 to give the forces a time dependence function. the problem is that TLOAD1 field 'EXCITEID cannot reference the LOAD and LOADADD Bulk Data Entries'. How can I resolve a transient analysis having more than 1 load?

Thanks for the help!

    Hi @Fedra853

You can have individual TLOAD1s and use DLOAD to combine all the TLOADs to a single load.

    Great thanks!

In case there are Forces and Moment (automatically generated by HM when I imported a file.csv using field>realize) can I treat them in the same way, i.e merge them in the same collector?

    Hi,

If the loads are used in same loadcases, you can have a single loadcase and use it in TLOAD.

If the loads are for different loadcases, use different loadcases and different TLOADs

    I have the same question.
Unfortunately, the proposed solution with combining several TLOAD1 cards in a DLOAD does not work
