Connections in the stator winding
Hello!
How can we design abnormal connections in the stator windings of a synchronous generator such as:
short circuit(SC)
1. Phase to erath SC
2. Phase to phase SC
3. Coil to coil SC
4. Turn to turn SC
For example, is it right to design circuit for phase to erath SC?

Hello,
I think adding resistances or switches like you did is fine. You can activate those short circuits by using formulas with Valid functions if needed.
For instance -> 1e4*Valid(TIME,-1,10)+1e-4
This will be a large resistance until TIME=10s and then will be like a short circuitThere is an example of induction machine and short circuit in the Induction Motor with overlay tutorial. In the "Real working conditions" part of the example

Thank you. The way you say it is very helpful. (valid functions)
But what i want to know is
3. Coil to coil SC
4. Turn to turn SC
in real working condition, there is metion about 3,4
how to design coil to coil short circuit, and turn to turn short circuit?
