getting objects produced in Rapidminer into an external file for processing

I am new to Rapidminer and would like to get some results produced in Rapidminer
(e.g., list of frequent item sets) into an external file for further processing.  The "Write as text"
seems to be one option but it appears to truncate the list if it is too long. (The same thing
happens when I tried to write out a large covariance matrix.)  I would prefer
not to use the generic write of objects and have to deal with the XML.

Am I missing some simple solution?
