Davies Boulding index returning negative values

Hi All,
          I am trying to gauge the performance of the k means algo using different k values (using the DB index values). Strangely all DB idx values being returned are negative. I guess this must be due to the average dist from centroid in different clusters being negative. But what i dont understand is that distances being scalar values , how any distance could be negative ...or am i missing something here ? Please let me know.

i have the same problem....is there any idea or solution?....or it is just a big BUG
