How can I download the EDEM 2021.1 student version. The only available in market place is the 2022 version to the latest but this version has bug that it will not utilize the GPU and only two core of CPU is available and it crashes when you click the simulation button.

Thanks for the reply. I did try all the newer versions but they all have a bug that if you click the simulation run button it will crash immediately without any notice showing what is wrong. I guess they should remove it from the market place download if they don't have any plan on fixing it. I guess I will try the Ansys Rocky.

    Hi MG,

We don't have any reports of EDEM crashing on running internally or via our customer base.  If you have a specific file that is crashing we could review and see if there is an issue with the simulation file.  It maybe related to ensuring all OS updates are done and drivers up to date.  Supported operating systems are:

    Hi,

2021.1 is no longer supported as it is quite old now, I'd recommend downloading one of the later versions.

The student version of EDEM is limited by the license, which does restrict it to CPU only https://web.altair.com/altair-student-edition
