That is a quite generic error and most of the cases it refers to a corrupted installation. I recommend to do this: 1) uninstall the program 2) delete the installer package 3) download it again and check if the size is 3.17 GB (if not you have to download it again) 4) install the new package and check if it works.

If the software is properly installed there should be no reason to give that error.

    Ciao!

    Antonio

I just downloaded the Inspire Studio 2021.1 installation and I'm getting the same error.
I downloaded again and reinstalled several times, always getting the same error.
    Any suggestion, please ?

I just joined, dowloaded Altair Inspire Studio, installed and got the same problem:

    unable to load Evoc_UI.dll

Redownloaded and reinstalled again, and again.
No way to get rid of it.
Could someone offer a less generic reply, possibly offering an actually working solution, please ?
    Thank You in advance.

Mine started working all alone after a couple of days, no idea what changed though.

I think the source of the problem is related to the "Assets Folder" selection during installation.
If you are installing under a standard Windows user account, in the installation step below, you should type the standard username instead of the administrator.

If you do not do this, the following error messages will appear when you try to open the Inspire Studio.

If you are installing Inspire Studio with other Altair softwares ( Solver, Desktop etc.) , the above installation window does not appear. In this case, I do not know how to solve the problem.

According to a friend ( @João Marabisa ) this might be related to graphics card driver version.

Try updating your driver, and make sure it has enable the Vulkan drivers.

Please ensure you are not using a remote desktop connection and that you are installing and working at your machine directly,

Make sure the Graphics Hardware recommendations below are supported

    • OpenGL 3D graphics accelerator compatible with OpenGL 3.2 or higher

    • OpenCL 2.1 required

    • True color (24-bit) support

    • Install/update to most recent OpenGL patches/drivers

    • 1920x1080 screen resolution or higher for optimal user experience

    • 2 GB or higher dedicated RAM

    • Only AMD and NVIDIA GPUs supported (Intel chipsets are not supported) if you are using the intel card, make sure you switch to your other graphics card, you will find information on how to do this on the web.

If you are using an Nvidia card, I would also do this:

    - download the latest driver

    - install it and choose Custom Install

    - enable the "Clean Install" checkbox option

    - finish to install the driver

    - restart the computer

This should solve any driver-related issue.
