I have been working on the AXIAL FLUX MOTOR (DUAL ROTORS and CORELESS stator). However, my design incorporated the use of a spiral planar coil.  i IMPORTED THE COIL FROM SOLID WORK and find it difficult to define the terminals

    Hi Isiaka,

Have you imported the full planar coil with the input and output terminal?

If yes you should be able to define the terminals using the menu Physics -> Orient wires of coil conductor regions(completion mode) And use external terminals if the coil is not closed. You should be able to defined the input of the current and the output.

A second solution is to simplified the planar coil and used cylindrical coil (hollow cylinder) cut in two parts. In this case you can use the same way to orient the coil as in your previous model.

    I hope this helps.

    Best regards.
