Running Jobs without GUI

Dear Altair Team,

I'm looking for a possibility to run jobs, on my local workstation, in a queue.

Is there a tool which allows me to queue my simulation jobs from Flux and FluxMotor. It should run the simulations by itself and, after the jobs has been finished, save and close them, so the licenses are free for others to use?

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,

Markus Jäger

    Hi,

In case of Flux there is a way to solve several projects. You can use the batch mode.

From the supervisor >> select batch solve (before running the batch mode you need to prepare your flux projects (be sur that the geometry is correct mesh is done and the physics is correct, at the last you need to create the solving scenario).

In case of FluxMotor, You can use Script Factory / Batch mode to launch projects one by one. Simply, you use openMotor to open a new motor, then launch your calculations, then saveMotor, then openMotor for the second project... Each time you use openMotor, the previous motor is closed before the new motor is opened

You can check the Flux and FluxMotor help for more details.

    Thanks.
