Non Managed Error

Hello,

I am trying to model a 3D magneto-static scenario. Eventually my scenario includes a moving part through a magnetic field, but to begin with I just want to model a few magnets and see what the magnetic field looks like. Here are the steps I took:

1. Define magnets geometry and infinite box , then build volumes.

2. Define Application as magneto-static 3D and choose automatic for everything.

3. Define points for mesh size and perform mesh (ctrl+m).

4. Assign volumes to regions and assign materials (N45 magnets where relevant and air where relavent).

5. Define mechanical sets and assign accordingly.

6. Solve with reference values.

It appears that the software begins solving it, but right at the end end it runs into an error, and I get the message (also attached as file):

executeAlgo_c : Execution failed.

Failed execution

Non managed error which has stopped solving process

Can someone please help me identify the problem?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

Can you share your Flux project (zip format).

    Best regards.

    Hi,

When I do check geometry, Flux display an error message. This means that your geometry is not correct. To correct the geometry, I build again the device and separate the infinite box and the magnets with air region (see attached Flux project). Other thing, in your case you don’t need to use a mechanical set (there is no movement); then I delete all the mechanical sets that you have created.

Attached your Flux project ready to mesh and solve.

    Best regards.

    Thank you very much!!

Unfortunately I can't open the file since it was edited in a newer version than the one I use (2018 student version). Is there a way for me to convert this file so that my software can open it?

    Thank you again

**I was able to correct my simulation so that it works. Thanks again!

    Hi,

    You are welcome.

Can you try to open the attached file. I sued Flux 2018 to do it.

    Best regards.
