Hi Andy. Are you using Classic or Data Prep Studio? In Data Prep Studio, you can create a combination of calculations and filters, which are saved as part of the change history. You can then export that change history and reuse it on new workspaces that have the same filter requirements, assuming the column names remain consistent.------------------------------LaRue BrownSolutions ArchitectDatawatch CorporationBedford MA(978) 275-8234-------------------------------------------------------------------------Original Message:Sent: 05-08-2019 11:19 AMFrom: Andy ColesSubject: Recurring FiltersAssuming there's still no way of importing filters (as there was back in 10.5) has anyone got any suggestions for some other time saving workaround? The majority of the models I have to produce need the same set of 30 filters -mostly a mixture of formula and compound - which are used as the basis of summaries in Classic. It just feels really inefficient to have to enter all of these every time a new model is needed but I can't see an alternative!------------------------------Andy ColesPension ManagerDorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust01202 277312------------------------------"
Hi LaRue. Thanks for the reply. I usually start off in DPS for tidying up and using the Join function but then open the result in Classic because we rely on the Summary feature there. Most of our models have about 15 summaries based on one or other of the filters. I haven't found a way of replicating the summary feature in DPS. Once the model is set up in Classic it's all fine - I just miss being able to import the filters from another model and wondered if I was missing a trick.------------------------------Andy ColesPension ManagerDorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust01202 277312-------------------------------------------------------------------------Original Message:Sent: 05-09-2019 08:44 AMFrom: LaRue BrownSubject: Recurring FiltersHi Andy.
