Hello,

I am doing snap fit analysis. There are two errors in my model

1.  Error in memory allocation

2. Error 760 Report to listing file

Please tell me why is it so.

2nd error is coming frequently. Means some common mistakes by me every time. Please Guide me accordingly.<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>error.thumb.PNG.fdd638135fbe5660d599228319cb61ac.PNG

Hardware question: How much memory (RAM) do you have?

    Version HW? OS?

    Hi,

Error id 760 pops up due to any modelling error and so we cannot specifically point to a reason. But we can easily trace this error either from starter out or using the model checker and can sort this issue.

I'm not able to download the above file. Can you please reattach?.

Your mesh is too fine and you have ONLY 8Go of ram.

Try to remake a coarser mesh or add more RAM into your PC.

    Hi,

The file ran without any issues for me. As mentioned by Nguyen-Dai you can try with a coarser mesh.

Also update to latest HyperWorks version.

    Hello George and Q.Nguyen-Dai,

    Thanks for suggestion.

I try same model today again without any changes, and it runs without any error.

Problem is solved. But the question is why it shows error in previous run

I don't know. Maybe at the past, when you run your analysis there're some another applications so it's not enough memory for RADIOSS?

    In general, 'memory allocation' error is related to .... MEMORY :)/emoticons/default_smile.png' srcset='/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x' title=':)' width='20' />

8Go of RAM is too small for me to work efficiently (FYI: my desktop has 128Go and my computing servers have >= 512Go)

    Hi Yasmin,

It seems you are using acusolve, not radioss. You can ask the question to the acusolve forum. i am sure the will figure out something for you :)

    Thanks,
    Mathis.

    Hi

By any chance you are setting /MEMORY in your Starter deck?

If so please remove and give it another trial.
