Hello
please, just as we have a 3D example for a three-phase transformer, is there a 2D example for a 3 phase transformer design?

I am currently working on research on the optimization of transformer performance and i was hoping if i can get a 2D design of a transformer so that i can check for both copper and iron losses

Thank you.

    Hi Harmony Perter,

We do not have a 2D example of a 3-phase transformer. I will check internally and let you know.

In 2D, you need to get the core and coils as faces. The setup will be the same as in the 3D example.

For reference on steps to complete setup, please look at "Inductive proximity sensor," which we have included in both 2D and 3D.

Joule losses and Iron losses computation process are the same as the 3D model.

    Thank you,

    Lavanya
