Dear Prakash,

I am trying to do Pressfit simulation in Optistruct with NLSTAT having Dummy Load, SPC & NLPARM

I am getting following error :

*** ERROR # 1908 ***
Case Control data LOAD=1 is not referenced by any bulk data
 relevant for used subcase type.

LOAD = 1 which is dummy load collector is referenced in Load step, then also getting this error.

Please address how to fix this issue.

Thanks & Regards,

Suraj

    Hi Suraj,

Can you share the model file?

Please use the FTP lnk to share the file: https://ftam1.altair.com/filedrop/~Ce4god

    Dear Prakash,

I have the same error. Could you help me?

I need to build a 2D plate structure, which is subject to flux input to the top middle edge and fixed temperature at bottom two corners.  Optimization is to Minimize TCOMP, with constraint volfrac <= 0.3 .

I am also not sure whether my model is correct. :( Could you check my file and see whether the flux input and fixed temperature input are correct ?

Please find my model file as attached, thanks very much.

    Hi @wumindao

Looks like you have a load collector which is not referenced in any load case.

Can you update and check if you are through?

    Dear Prakash,

I have two load collectors (heat_flux , spc_heat), and they are referenced by load case heat_transfer.

    Please see following screen shot.

    Hi,

I am not sure what you are trying to optimize. I see only one response which is volume fraction referenced in both objective and constraint which is not practical.

If you are idea to control thermal compliance create another response for Thermal compliance and use it as objective or constraint.

    2) There is no thickness for non design property

    3) I think load collector heat flux is empty no heat flux is seen in your model.

    Dear Prakash,

I am sorry for attached a wrong file, please find attached new updated file.

my objective is to Minimize TCOMP (Thermal Compliance)

    For your 3) point.

    3) I think load collector heat flux is empty no heat flux is seen in your model.

I have add the heat flux on the top middle nodes, but after I export to solver deck, the heat flux missed.

    @wumindao

There is no heat flux applied in your new model. Create CHBDYE and apply heat flux (QBDY) on our model.

    Dear Prakash,

    Thanks for your file.

The reason for this type of error is the heat flux not be applied correctly in my model.
