How to view two different results from same model in one window on Hyperview?
Hello all,
I am aware of using spilt windows on Hyperview to compare the results. Is it possible to import two different models in one window (without splitting) and compare the results such as displacement for different time stamps? Because, i think it would be more effective to validate the results.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Hi Samraj,
You can change page window layout into two (Use below shown icon) and load different results in different windows.

Hello Premanand,
Thank you very much for your swift reply. No. Unfortunately, that was not my question /emoticons/default_sad.png' srcset='/emoticons/sad@2x.png 2x' title=':(' width='20' />. I wanted to view two different results on one window. Nevertheless, i have found an option and still working aroud it. I split the wndows into two and uploaded the results on each resp. Mouse Rightclick while the curor is on either of the window ==> active model ==> Cut/Copy/Paste.

No. I am well aware of this method. I would like to have (for eg.) displacement plots of same FEM model (but with different parameters like loading conditions ==> that means there are two different folders with results in .h3d or d3plot format) on one window. Without splitting the window.

I have found a way. When comparing two different results of a FEM model is needed to be done on a single window on Hyperview,
- Hyperview. ==> Split as many windows as needed ==> import models and results to each window respectively.
- Mouse Rightclick while the cursor is somewhere on the window ==> active model ==> Cut/Copy/Paste.
- Copy the results and make sure you paste them all in one window. Before doing so, renaming the title would be wise to differentiate.
- From the feature tree, right click the file name ==>make current ==> maybe change colors of components to one for comparison. Hide the compo which you dont want to be shown, etc..
- repeat the same for other models.
- I have the desired components from different result files visible in one window. It makes things a lot easier for results comparison and validation.
Thank you.

You can import multiple results for same model (same windows) as below picture:
You also can refer the below link for more detail: https://altairuniversity.com/learning-library/import-multiple-results-files-in-hyperview/
