Linear Superposition

Dear Frineds,

please some one help me out with the below query, thanks in advance .......

I am comparing the results of NASTRAN solver and RADIOSS solver (Note: Model and load cases are exactly same in both). When i create the load cases in the deck the results are almost same with slight variation may be 5%. But when i create a derieved load step(Linear superposition) in both i.e in NASTRAN as well Radioss i find quite a large difference in the reults. Could some one help me out in telling what may be going wrong.

Hi,

normaly a linear superposition is a really simple mathematical operation and Hyperview do it for both solvers in the same way.

Check it manually by picking a result and calculate the superposition by yourself. Compare the result to each other.
