Hallo to all,

I have a problem I never experienced before. Perhaps some of you had this issue before.

I want to improve the element quality with tetra mesh optimization tool. My input settings are:

- 13 parts with its mesh

- Fix all

- Fix shell comp boundaries

- Maintain geometry edges

-Optimise tetras by force

Optimizer starts and after some time I get the error message: 'Invalid Input Mesh' in the left bottom corner of the Hypermesh screen.

When I change to Edge Swap or remesh this error occurs much faster.

I already checked If I have any duplicates, connectivity problem or other elements than Ctetras. But everything with that is OK. I have no clue why this error message appears.

Kind regards,

Daniel

    Hi,

I tried with a simple model and it works fine.

Can you share the model so that we can try the same here.

Yes I can share it. The components that didn´t work are: HDP_Lager, NWBruecke_Auslass and  NWBruecke_Einlass. The others went pretty well.

    Hi,

This seems to be an issue with the elements in the  NWBruecke_Einlass component. I recommend you to remesh this component and try the Tetra Mesh Optimization again.
