Move a Marker on a Rigid Body


Overview

Locate and orientate a marker to the same location and orientation of a second marker when a calls this sensor evaluate subroutine is called.

Usage/Installation Instructions

This sensor evaluate, SEVSUB, function places the j-marker at the same location and orientation as the input "i-marker".

  1. Create a sensor in MotionView to evaluate a user subroutine when the sensor is triggered.
  2. In the sensor-response panel check "Evaluate Expression".
  3. In the drop down menu select "USER"
  4. Next to the "USER" enter "User(,,)
  5. In the sensor-response dll tab, select the local file location for "relocate_marker_03Nov14".
  6. In the drop down menu for "Function Type" select "Python"
  7. In the "Function Name" text box enter "relocate_marker"
  8. Copy the information from step 4 to the text box for "User Expr"
