This book is a basic introduction on “System Modeling and Control”. We assume that the readers are beginners to this subject and hence we have tried to provide the basic theoretical knowledge along with practical exercises. In this book, firstly, we discuss linear time-invariant systems and their analysis, the mathematical representation of the system, followed by solving differential equations representing the system using Laplace transforms and state space representation, we further discuss stability of systems, system modeling techniques and finally, different control systems and theories are discussed. Throughout the book a mass-spring-damper system is used to illustrate the concepts for easy understanding.
