Using Altair FEKO to Facilitate Development of the World-™s Smallest TV Antenna

Development of World's Smallest TV Antenna
Television is considered as one of the most important media of communications in Mexico. Several tests conducted in cities like Tijuana, Guadalajara and Mexico City, demonstrated that oftentimes the challenge is the successful transmission of signals to some of the more remote areas, especially indoors.
Typically a Yagi array antenna is used for
TV reception. Yagi antenna provides a directed beam that goes towards the TV tower, permitting a high degree of signal reception. Dr. Tecpoyotl's team developed an antenna that is miniaturized into a smaller footprint, while at the same time improving the signal stability, compared with other passive antennas.
