In this Tips, Tricks, and Inquiries demo we learn how to use the aerospace Section Cut Create tool and Section Property Tool in HyperWorks 2021.1. These two tools enable the creation of 1D cross-sections, nodes, and elements to simplify other elements in the model.

In this video we will:

• simplify 1D, 2D, and 3D geometry into a 1D element with appropriate cross-section.
• create nodes and 1D elements at the centroid and neutral axis of a cross-section.
