In order to duplicate easily a material created in Flux, you can use the pyflux command.
The procedure to follow is described below:
- Right click on the material and select Display PyFlux command. The command will be displayed in the History window
- Copy the displayed command from the History window and paste it in the Command window
- Change the material name and click on Enter to execute the command
This method allows to:
- duplicate materials in the same Flux project
- copy a material from one Flux project into another For instance, it avoids re-defining materials with "long" spline curves.
