DSIM uses a novel discrete-state event-driven solver. This approach is drastically different from the traditional time-discretization and time-driven methods used in existing simulation tools. The DSIM solver can intelligently sense the complex dynamics of the system states and track the changes adaptively, greatly maximizing the simulation efficiency.
