The Session began with a brief overview of Pivot/Unpivot and Duplicates in Monarch v.2021(DPS Mode) before diving into the LIVE Questions. 

First 40-minutes of the Session our Expert reviewed Pivot/Unpivot and Duplicates.  11:07-11:22am started with 2nd sample file demo and went into describing Lookup Column and quick review of 'trapping' & used Split Function.

1. How to choose the correct Excel Engine in Monarch Server(Automator)?   Mo demonstrated this at approximately during the last 6-minutes of the Session. :

1. In the Server Settings ->  Automator ->  Input
2. In the Process ->  Database Input ->  Selecting the Source

2. What is Better: Modern or Legacy?   It was shared: Short answer- LEGACY Excel connector uses OLEDB to open Excel files while MODERN uses Aspose Engine.  The main difference between these two engines is performance and memory usage when working with large Excel files. The Modern Engine uses less memory and performs better than the Legacy Engine. Also, the Modern Engine can open Excel Files with more than 255 columns.
